Specializing in complex projects where design, engineering, financing, and stakeholder needs must be balanced to create a viable project, Men of La Mancha find ways to take projects that others have trouble penciling and turn them into reality.

SAFETY FIRST
The single most important thing on any construction site is safety. There is nothing we do that is worth anyone’s life, limb, or going home less than whole at the end of the day. We believe in and support a culture that places the importance and focus on doing things safely above anything else while on the project site. We enforce these policies for ourselves, our subcontractors, and our clients while they are in the construction area.

DESIGN SECOND
There is nothing worth doing that is not worth doing right the first time. We make it our mission to execute systems that have quality as a focus – where the systems are installed to specification, to code, and to industry best practices. We do not want to spend our time with our clients on service and rework, or have them see us repair a large portion of their system, that is not part of our image or reputation. We uphold the highest quality standards not only for ourselves, but for our suppliers and our subcontractors.

PRODUCTION THIRD
It doesn’t matter how fast you can do something wrong – it only matters how fast you can do it right. Too often, people focus on hitting a production target or a milestone date at the expense of it being done safe or right. Getting things done quickly is important, but it is never our first or even our second priority. Once something is being done safely and correctly, then we will focus on doing it quickly.
We measure our success based on the philosophy of the Triple Bottom Line placing value on the 3 P’s of People, Planet, & Profit.
PEOPLE
All people matter, our employees, our customers, and our communities as at large. We have an obligation to ensure that our work and our actions provide high quality, high paying jobs for our employees; affordable, high quality projects for our customers; and ensure that we support our communities in a conscious and ethical way.
PLANET
With all of our decisions, we must consider the planet we live on. When possible, sourcing products locally, even when not the lowest cost. Purchase from vendors who themselves have an environmentally conscious manufacturing and distribution process. Take every opportunity to recycle, even when it is not easy and has a cost. Taking care of our planet does not have to be free or easy, it has to be our responsibility.
PROFIT
As a business, we need to make profit. We need to have a business model that allows us to be around to support our customers now and in the future. Our goals though do not center around rapid growth and year over year excessive profits, they are about long-term, sustainable, ethical profits. Our goals are not to be rich, they are to be comfortable – if we are comfortable, we want to make the people around us comfortable.
